About Me

I am a burgeoning interior designer and artist.  I’ve already had two interesting careers but in my mid-30’s I realized my right brain was pulling at my heart-strings.  Art, design, and a little fashion are what I spend my days dreaming about.  I love modern design and favour the mid-century classics: Eames, Saarinen, Van Der Rohe, Nelson, Cherner, Le Corbusier, Bertoia.  I also admire the new modernists, Starck, Erwan & Ronan Bouroullec, Ron Arad, Oki Sato, and I’m always inspired by Georg Jensen’s fluid tableware. Architecturally my heart belongs to Rem Koolhaas and Frank Ghery; Ghery’s Hotel Marques de Riscal in Elciego, Spain takes my breath away every time I see it, and you’ll often find me wearing his silver fish pendant or torque ring from Tiffany’s.

I am blessed with a fabulous husband who travels (a lot!) to interesting places for work, loves good food (as well as cooking it) and is quite the amateur oenophile.  He’s also pretty stylish and enjoys shopping too, so I am a very lucky woman!
